These Terms of Service apply to all purchases, bookings, visits, and interactions with Petallica Flower Farm. By purchasing from us, attending our site, or participating in our activities, you agree to these terms.

We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any changes.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.


2. Purchases, Returns and Refunds

Purchases made from Petallica Flower Farm are generally non-refundable. However, this does not affect your statutory rights under UK consumer law.

If a fault is identified with a product, please email hello@petallica.org with details and photographs of the issue. We will review the matter and work with you to find an appropriate resolution.


3. Postal Orders

We do not accept responsibility for the services provided by third-party delivery companies. This includes delays, damage in transit, or delivery timeframes.

All products are inspected prior to dispatch to ensure they meet our quality standards.


4. Bookings, Events and Workshops

Bookings are confirmed upon receipt of payment (full or deposit, where applicable).

We reserve the right to cancel events or workshops due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to:

  • Adverse weather conditions
  • Crop or material availability
  • Staff illness

In such cases, customers will be offered the choice of:

  • A full refund, or
  • Transfer to a future event or workshop

If you can no longer attend an event or workshop, we may offer to transfer your booking to a future date. However, cancellations made within 5 working days of the event are not eligible for transfer or refund.


5. Volunteering

Participation in volunteering activities at Petallica Flower Farm is entirely voluntary and undertaken at your own risk.

Volunteering does not constitute employment, and no financial compensation is provided.

Volunteers are expected to:

  • Follow all health and safety guidance
  • Act responsibly and respectfully
  • Follow instructions given by staff

We reserve the right to refuse or terminate participation at our discretion.


6. Flower Care

It is the customer’s responsibility to care for flowers appropriately to ensure their longevity.

For fresh flowers, this includes:

  • Changing vase water regularly
  • Re-trimming stems

For dried flowers, this includes:

  • Keeping them in a dry environment
  • Avoiding direct sunlight

We accept no responsibility for deterioration once products have left our premises where appropriate care has not been followed.


7. Health and Safety

All flowers should be treated as potentially toxic and must not be ingested or used on edible items. We accept no responsibility for adverse reactions where this guidance is not followed.

Visitors enter the site at their own risk. Hazards may include:

  • Uneven ground
  • Weather conditions
  • Plants, insects, and wildlife

Machinery, tools, and equipment must only be used under staff supervision.

We accept no responsibility for accidents resulting from negligence or failure to follow instructions.

Additional site rules:

  • Entry to flower fields and polytunnels is prohibited unless supervised
  • Children must be supervised at all times
  • Dogs are only permitted during Eco Markets unless prior permission is granted

8. Photography and Media

Photography and video recording may take place during events, workshops, and markets for promotional purposes.

By attending, you acknowledge that you may appear in such content. If you would prefer not to be included, please inform a member of staff on arrival.


9. Privacy and Data Protection

We are committed to protecting your personal data. Any information provided to us will be handled in accordance with applicable UK data protection laws.

10. Website Use and Intellectual Property

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Petallica Flower Farm shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from:

  • Attendance at our site
  • Participation in events, workshops, or volunteering
