12 July: DIY Wedding Workshop

Spend the day with us at the farm learning new skills in flower arranging and calligraphy to help you create the wedding you’ve imagined!
During the day, you will learn how to arrange a beautiful bridal bouquet and buttonhole. You will also be given an introduction to calligraphy so you can create stunning handwritten place cards, menus and signage for your big day.

9 August: Cyanotype Workshop
Time: 10:00 - 13:00

Join local artist Carly Wilshere-Butler for a morning learning to create beautiful cyanotype prints. During the workshop, you will start by picking flowers and foliage from our fields to use in your designs. Carly will then guide you through the cyanotype process and help you to create stunning botanical prints and tags for you to take home.

17 August: Yoga & Flower Crown Making

Join us for a morning of relaxation and creativity at the farm, where you will enjoy a flow and restorative yoga class with local instructor Abbey Tildesley, followed by a dried flower crown workshop with the Petallica team.
All tools and materials will be provided, and refreshments are also included.
24 August: Botanical Printing Workshop

Join local artist Stacey Keay from We Are Woven for a morning of creativity. During the session you will explore the intricate beauty of creating art from petals and the natural pigments of plants. You will be shown how to treat your papers with binders before composing a set of floral prints using a steaming process. To complete your botanical experience you will also experiment with simple flower inks.

Join us at the farm to learn how to make a beautiful hand-tied bouquet using sustainably grown flowers grown just metres away. During the workshop you will learn about flower conditioning and the technique of spiralling to create a stunning bouquet.
6 September: Botanical Aromatherapy Workshop

Spend the morning with Bridget Robinson from Coastal Botanics to learn about healing power of aromatherapy blends that use essential oils from flowers and plants that can be found on our farm.
13 September: Flower Painting Workshop

During this workshop you will then be taught step by step how to sketch and then paint a bunch of flowers by local artist Rhiannon Collins.
Set within the beautiful surroundings of our farm, you will hand pick a selection of our sustainably grown flowers to use as inspiration to create your painting.

This project brings together younger and older members of our community to build connections and boost wellbeing. Join us on Wednesday mornings to help out with sowing, planting and more at the flower farm, as well as enjoying a cup and tea, a biscuit and a chat.
